CHILD CARE PROGRAM
It is the mission of Redeemer Lutheran Church Early Childhood Program in grateful response to God’s love for us in Christ Jesus, to provide a Christ centered education and a spiritual foundation for our students by word and deed within our School, Childcare center and church communities.
Childcare is a growing need in our communities today. Our program at Redeemer strives to give parents the best possible service for their children during their very busy working hours. Our Childcare is open from 6:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. daily. The program is state licensed through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services for children ages 3 through 12. The teachers at Redeemer Lutheran Childcare are licensed to teach Preschool and are certified with 45 hours or more of Early Childhood training.
Redeemer offers a Childcare program in which the atmosphere is relaxed, loving, creative, fun and inviting. You can leave your child confident in knowing that they are in a safe and healthy environment. The program offers a structured program with a daily routine for games, daily crafts, indoor/outdoor play, music with movement and story time. The Fairfield County Library brings books and the children are read to consistently throughout the day. We offer opportunities to grow in love and faith in Jesus Christ through worship, daily devotions, fellowship amongst the children, and through the religion curriculum called “Voyages”. “Voyages” is similar to Sunday school material, reiterating a Bible Story and verse through stories, puppets, story cubes and so on.
Our program has a health and wellness policy whereby we provide healthy nutritional snacks for our children (10:00 A.M., 3:00 P.M. and after school latchkey snack around 4:15 P.M.). Parents are responsible to provide breakfast (Redeemer provides milk) and a nutritional packed lunch. Redeemer does not have a cafeteria to heat or refrigerate food items so insulated lunch boxes and thermoses work well and can be stored in the children’s locker. Children spend quite a bit of time outdoors weather permitting as physical exercise is an important part of the day. In accordance with our license, children that are 3 years old will have a rest period for 1 and ½ hours per day. Cots are provided and children are welcome to bring in a blanket/pillow or stuffed animal to sleep with (laundered each week with cot sheet). Any child that is not 3 may also take a nap if the parent decides that they may do so.
Program fees are as follows;
$50.00 registration fee per child annually.
$38.00 per day Drop In rate (1 to 2 days a month)
$34.00 per day (1 or 2 days per week on a consistent basis).
$80.00 per week for 3 days part time flat fee.
$130.00 per week for 4 or 5 days full time flat fee.
A 25% discount is offered for siblings.

$26.00 per week for Part-time (1 to 3 days Before OR After school)
$32.00 per week for Full-time (4 or 5 days Before OR After school)
Latchkey YMCA Transportation
$30.00 per week per child (price contingent on YMCA fees)
Our policy stipulates that you are charged for your schedule regardless of attendance. All families enrolled full time, are given 10 days vacation per school year.
